This red octopus wood sculpture shows a small octopus hunched low, its tentacles gathered downward like a folded cloak. Hand-carved from wood and hand-painted, the deep red body carries a scatter of pale blue star markings across the underside of each arm.
One round eye peers sideways above a small amber beak, giving it a watchful, slightly grumpy character. The faceted cuts left by the knife keep the surface raw and tactile. A compact octopus figurine for a desk, shelf, or a shallow dish among other small objects.
